If you like design markets and Gaudí houses, this plan brings both together: from 13 to 15 November, Torre Bellesguard hosts a new edition of BCN en las Alturas, the fashion, homeware, food and music market set up high in Sant Gervasi.
It is the 32nd edition and one of the few chances to stroll through the gardens of Bellesguard, one of Gaudí’s least-known works, with Barcelona at your feet.
What is it? A market of local fashion, accessories, homeware and food brands, with live music, in a Gaudí house.
Why go? To discover Barcelona brands, get a head start on Christmas shopping and see inside Bellesguard on a guided tour.

What you’ll find at the 32nd edition
According to the organisers, BCN en las Alturas has spent more than 20 editions bringing Barcelona’s local brands together with their customers. Expect local brands of fashion, accessories, jewellery and homeware, food stalls and live music all weekend. The market also has charity corners for the foundations and NGOs the organisers work with.
Torre Bellesguard
Gaudí built it between 1900 and 1909. It sits halfway between Gothic and Modernisme, surrounded by gardens and with city views that make the climb worthwhile. It has been a listed Cultural Heritage Site since 1969. If you want more Gaudí, here is why the Sagrada Família is now the tallest church in the world.
How to get there
- From Plaça de Catalunya: FGC L7 to Avinguda Tibidabo, then bus 196, which stops at Bellesguard.
- You can also take the V13 or V15 to Pl. Kennedy and change to the 196 there. The alternative to the 196 is the 123.
- By car or taxi, about 15 minutes from the centre.
My tips
- If you want the guided tour, go early so you can choose your slot without rushing.
- The house is in the upper part of the city: bring a jacket, as it gets chilly in the evening.
