It has been at Carrer de Calvet, 11, in Sant Gervasi, for over 40 years, and today it is run by Katherina, whose motto sums it up: you don’t come here to buy a size, you come here to be listened to.

Ras opened more than four decades ago and has never left Carrer de Calvet. Over the years it has become a local reference for anyone looking for personal advice, a friendly welcome and quality pieces, which is exactly what is hard to find when you buy lingerie in a department store or online.
It is an old-school corsetería where it matters, in the one-to-one service, but with a modern touch: a website in Spanish and Catalan, a digital gift card and bookings by WhatsApp.
Katherina, the woman behind Ras
Katherina trained as a lawyer and a beautician, and spent more than ten years advising women on body and skin care before starting her own business in Barcelona and taking over Ras.
Her way of working is what makes the shop different. She always starts the same way: asking, listening and observing. Only then does she suggest anything. That is why at Ras your size is just the starting point, not what decides what you take home.
