This weekend three celebrations come together: Halloween on Saturday 31, the Castanyada that same night and All Saints’ Day on Sunday 1. There are scares for every age, roasted chestnuts, spooky concerts and, on Sunday, free museums.
A practical note: on Sunday 1 November most shops are closed, because it is not an authorised opening day. Everything is in shops open on public holidays in Barcelona.
